Papa Roach - Time For Annihilation: On The Record & On The Road

After 2009's "Metamorphosis," Papa Roach releases "Time For Annihilation," which is a half live, and half studio album. They only actually recorded five songs. Isn't that lame? What is that?

Anyways, the first track, "Burn," sounded more like a Linkin Park song than a Papa Roach song in my opinion. "One Track Mind," the second song, was a really, really, bad song. The guitar sounds bad, the lyrics are terrible, and it was just bad. The first four words of the song were "Sex Addicts, Drugs, and Vampires." That's not the start to a good song. The third song, "Kick In The Teeth," their single before the album released, is a really over-rated song. It's not a good song, and I don't like it at all. The fourth song, "No Matter What," isn't a good song, but is the best song of the bunch. "Enemy," the fifth song, and last, is another let down. The guitar part at the beginning actually got my hopes up, but when I heard Jacoby Shaddix's voice, I knew it would be another failure of a song. The rest of the songs, however, are much better than the new ones. I think they should have just had either an entire live album, or an entire studio album; it just doesn't work with half and half.

Over all, I thought it was just a terrible album; I'm sorry Papa Roach, but it was just terrible. Why can't they just go back to their old ways? I wouldn't buy this album. You can listen it to yourself on their myspace page here:
